Sorrentino, Acutis: award for an economy of fraternity
With the the liturgical memorial of the young Carlo, on 12 October, the Bishop of Assisi underlines the importance of supporting “generative” economic processes based on solidarity and sharing, recalling the extension to 31 December 2021 for participation in the initiative “Francesco of Assisi and Carlo Acutis,” which is giving 50 thousand euros for projects in disadvantaged contexts.

Most projects are arriving now with the resumption of work activities after the summer.
So, in order to leave no one behind, more time is being given to work on submissions from individuals, entities, associations, individual or joint foundations to assist situations of poverty and economic and social emancipation in Italy and throughout the world.
